What is the difference between a Marquee Sports Network account (used when subscribing directly to Marquee) and profile (created when signing-in through your TV provider for the first time)?

When subscribing to Marquee Sports Network through WatchMarquee.com or the Marquee Sports Network App, you will need to create a Marquee Sports Network account, including a display name, email address and password. This account information allows you to sign in your Marquee Sports Network account across any applicable device.

When logging in to Marquee Sports Network with an existing TV provider, you will need to create a Marquee Sports Network profile, including a display name and email address. This is a free, one-time step that is used only to link your TV provider to an email address. This profile information is not the same as creating a Marquee Sports Network Account. You still need to click “SIGN IN WITH TV PROVIDER” across any devices and follow the appropriate instructions.
